At AP Mechanical Engineering, our SafeContractor accredited team has extensive experience gained over many years of carrying out a comprehensive range of fault-finding diagnostics and machinery repairs and refurbishments for metal processing and food processing companies and manufacturing plants. We work in Devon, Cornwall, the wider South West and across the UK. We are able to carry out fault-finding, repairs and refurbishments on-site. In addition, we have a fully-equipped workshop facility. If it is uneconomical to repair a piece of machinery, we are able to source and install new / replacement machinery.
It is, of course, preferable to agree a preventative maintenance solution for all equipment, but we do also offer a single reactive breakdown repair service, as needed.
When working on food processing equipment, our engineers are very aware of the critical importance of food safety and contamination risks and how to prevent these from occurring. We have over 15 years experience of working for Wrigley Company Plymouth, now part of Mars Wrigley Confectionery Ltd. We have also carried out many repairs to machinery at Progress Engineering Ltd in Bodmin. PEL manufacture machinery used in both the food and pharmaceutical industries.
